This Privacy Policy explains how OGL RETAIL LTD ("OGL Retail," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the RoastUP mobile application (the "App") or contact us about the App.

For applicable UK data protection law, OGL RETAIL LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy.
When you use RoastUP, you may provide:
text prompts or descriptions submitted for a roast;
photos you select from your photo library or take with your camera;
communications you send to customer support; and
any other information you voluntarily provide.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information or content that you do not have permission to use.
We may process:
AI-generated roast results;
your selected roast level, such as Playful, Spicy, or Savage;
limited usage information needed to apply free-use limits and provide premium access;
an anonymous or pseudonymous user identifier used to operate the App and associate your history and usage state; and
technical information such as app version, device type, operating system, timestamps, diagnostic information, and error logs.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. We may receive subscription status, product identifier, transaction status, renewal status, and related purchase information from Apple and our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, so that we can provide premium features and restore purchases.
RoastUP requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose to take or select a photo for a roast. You can change these permissions in your device settings. Denying permission will prevent photo-based features from working but will not prevent you from using text-based features where available.
We use information to:
generate and display AI-powered roast content;
store and show your roast history;
provide one free roast per day to eligible non-subscribers;
verify subscriptions, provide unlimited premium access, and restore purchases;
operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App;
respond to support requests;
prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Use; and
comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
Our legal bases may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
Text, photos, and related instructions that you submit may be transmitted to third-party AI and cloud-service providers solely to generate the requested roast and operate the App. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, unexpected, or offensive. Do not rely on it as factual, professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
Do not upload another person's image or personal information unless you have their permission and all necessary rights.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate RoastUP, including:
cloud hosting, database, authentication, and storage providers;
AI-processing providers;
subscription-management provider RevenueCat;
Apple for App Store purchases and platform services;
diagnostics, security, and customer-support providers; and
professional advisers or authorities when legally required.
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us and subject to their own legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our agreements, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain roast history, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed.
You may request deletion of your App-related personal data by emailing contact@oglretail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate and verify the relevant records. Some information may be retained where required by law or for security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as approved contractual protections or legally recognised adequacy mechanisms.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise a privacy right, email contact@oglretail.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
RoastUP is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action. Users under the age of legal majority in their country should use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
The App may contain links to third-party services, including Apple services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to RoastUP, our service providers, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice where required.
